Making a welcome return to Jersey’s skies as part of this year’s Jersey Battle of Flowers Moonlight Parade fireworks finale will be a dynamic aerial display performance from AeroSPARX.

Thanks to a sponsorship agreement with Ports of Jersey, organisers have once again secured the evening appearance of these unique aerial gliders, which, with their wingtip pyrotechnics will add a real ‘wow’ factor to the Moonlight Parade as they appear in the skies above St Aubin’s Bay.

Events Director for Jersey Battle of Flowers, Jackie Donald, says: “We are delighted to welcome the return of Aerosparx to this year’s Moonlight Parade. They last performed for us in 2016 as part of the finale and anyone who was lucky enough to see them will no doubt agree that the team bring a real ‘Wow’ factor and are a guaranteed crowd pleaser. As always, we are grateful to Ports of Jersey for their continuing support in securing this fantastic element to the show”.

In response, on behalf of Ports of Jersey, Airport Director Stephen Driscoll, says, “I have seen Aerosparx perform on a number of occasions and each time they deliver an exciting and memorable aerobatic performance. Since they last performed in Jersey the display has performed around the world at various major events and therefore, we are pleased that despite their increasingly busy schedule we have managed to secure such a unique aviation spectacle as part of this year’s Jersey Battle of Flowers Moonlight Parade finale”.

Although flying with fireworks is not a new venture, the development of wingtip pyrotechnics has taken a number of years to develop and as such the team at AeroSPARX boasts a number of special effects incorporating the latest technology into their aerial displays.
