As a spectator at this year’s Jersey Battle of Flowers we hope the following information is of assistance in preplanning your visit.
There are a number of public car parks and multi-storey car parks in St Helier, including Patriotic Street, Sand Street, Esplanade, Pier Road, Green Street, Snow Hill and the Waterfront. All of these are within 10 to 20 minutes walking distance of the main arena and are subject to the usual availability and charges as well as terms and conditions. Additional spectator parking on a first come basis will be available at First Tower car park and St. Andrew’s Park during both Battle Day and the Moonlight Parade with access to the arena from Paris Lane or Tynneville Lane.Due to likely traffic congestion, spectators are advised to take public transport wherever possible to and from St Helier. Please check with your hotel concierge who may also be able to arrange private transportation, as well as taxi transfers. Please note that due to safety reasons there is no parking under any circumstances within the immediate vicinity of the arena
Disabled Parking & Disabled Access
Please note there is no designated disabled parking at the arena, but drop off facilities are available at First Tower and in front of the Grand Hotel, Esplanade. Mobility scooters provided by local company Shopmobility (and not Battle organisers) will be located at both the First Tower and West Park entrances. Pre booking of these scooters is not possible and will be subject to availability.
The Disabled area of the arena, which is designated for wheelchair ticket holders only is to the west side of Stand C. Ticket marshals will be available to direct you to this area.

Traffic Update – Getting to & from the Arena
Due to the expected heavy traffic coupled with the volume of spectators making their way to and from the arena on Victoria Avenue – please allow sufficient time for your journey. Organisers will accept no responsibility for any spectator arriving late due to conditions outside of the arena and beyond its control.
Victoria Avenue will be closed in both directions between 9:30am and 6pm on Thursday 13 August and between 6:15pm and Midnight on Friday 14 August. If you area travelling to and from the airport or harbour please leave sufficient time for your road journey as delays are inevitable. Port authorities, Battle organisers and transport providers can not take responsibility for any passenger missing a flight/ferry due to road delays.
Traffic delays are likely on Thursday morning and Friday evening as floats make their way to/from the arena on Victoria Avenue. Please allow extra time for your journey or take alternative route.
