Battle 2005

This years Jersey Battle of Flowers began in brilliant sunshine. 22 floats took part and this year we reverted back to our traditional 2-pass parade.

Colour, design and spectacular costumes were the order of the day which didnt disappoint the huge turn out of spectators. With Carnival spirit and audience participation it certainly was the best Battle yet.

Our comentator Murrey Norton gave a tremendous running commentary and really got the crowd going with a mexican wave running through the whole arena at the beginning of the Parade.

Our Miss Battle, Victoria Keen who was elected in May did us proud and looked absolutely stunning on her float wearing a dress that she herself had designed.
