Louisa Gorvel
Miss Jersey Battle of Flowers in 1998 was awarded to 19 year old Louisa Gorvel, a trainee accountant with Ernst and Young. Louisa was also the reigning Miss St Saviour and was elected Miss Battle at the Hotel de France on 23rd May - an event kindly sponsored by Lloyds TSB.
Louisa competes in motor sports events in her spare time, as well as being
a member of St John Ambulance Brigade. During the six months after the Battle
of Flowers her spare time was taken up with numerous events both on and off
the Island, duties involved with the coveted title of Miss Battle.
