Katie Paintin
The 2001 Miss Battle of Flowers was elected in May. After a very exciting contest Katie Paintin was awarded the coverted title. Her Maid of Honour being Emily Grimshaw.
Katie enjoys music and plays in various orchestras in the Island. She has travelled throughout Europe and found her ideal location in Egypt. She is currently studying at Hautlieu and will soon be off to Cambridge University where she has a place at Clare College to read Music, History and English Literature.
Atop her new Miss Battle Float she and Emily proved to be the star attraction to those attending the 2001 Battle. She had also previously opened Battle week and looked forward to her fairytale continuing on to the Moonlight Parade.
