Maria da Silva
The Centenary Miss Battle of Flowers is 22 old Maria da Silva. Her Maid of Honour being Natasha Egre. Already they have been representing the Battle of Flowers and the Islands in many ways both locally and abroad.
Although Maria's parents hail from Madeira, she is Jersey born. She works at Jersey Tourism Department as an information Officer and also played and important role as a translator to various Government Departments.
Maria's outgoing personality is a great asset in her position and we are therefore
doubly pleased for her to be representing the Association.
