One of the largest freight operators, Channel Island Lines, has been confirmed as a new major sponsor for the 2015 Jersey Battle of Flowers Parades.
The company, which is one of the Island’s largest freight operators between the UK and Channel Islands, will support the 2015 Jersey Battle of Flowers and is looking to provide continued support in the future.
Channel Island Lines group chief executive officer, Andy Cook, said: “We are delighted to be able to support this fabulous event, which is the culmination of so much work by so many people. Having grown up in a family that was always involved in the Battle, I am very excited to be involved with the event once again. Channel Island Lines is a local business with a significant majority of employees who have grown up enjoying the Battle of Flowers each year”.
Events director for Jersey Battle of Flowers, Jackie Donald, said: “We are delighted to welcome Channel Island Lines as one of our major sponsors in 2015. We are particularly pleased to have a local company on board who are so clearly proud of their heritage and hope this year is just the start of a successful and mutually beneficial partnership for the next three years”.
