The Jersey Battle of Flowers Moonlight Parade will take place on the evening of Friday 14th August 2020
The Moonlight Parade is an amazing evening parade of the flower covered floats that are festooned with thousands of illuminated lights to give a truly magical appearance and a fitting finale to the annual Jersey Battle of Flowers floral extravaganza.
The atmosphere is truly ‘electric’ as the carnival spirits comes alive – it’s party time!
The Moonlight Parade will take place on both sides of the Victoria Avenue arena, enabling everyone to view all the exhibits and entertainment from all angles.
All floats will be positioned in the arena for the start of the Moonlight Parade and following a signal all floats will illuminate as one and start to move at the same time. This format has been agreed so as to create a ‘WOW!’ factor to begin the Moonlight Parade and also ensure that everyone in the arena gets a view of the floats at the same time, avoiding unnecessary delays before the first floats come into view.
